VAT EXPLAINED

Phoenix stock is divided into two main categories depending on the VAT status of the device, however any customer from anywhere in the world can buy stock from any of our stock lists.

  • EU / UK VAT Margin Stock – This is only charged on stock supplied using the VAT Margin scheme that applies to the sale of second hand goods, and it significantly reduces the VAT you owe when you sell the goods allowing you to reduce your sales price and / or increase your profits.  This is an EU / UK scheme however we recommend you check the details that apply in your own country through your local tax authority.

  • Standard VAT Stock – This is stock that must have standard VAT applied at the point of sale.  We sometimes refer to this as “Reverse Stock”.  All our OEM parts are sold with Standard VAT.  Please see the note below for export orders as to whether this will be charged to you.
